The Thord 3d works like any other retractable lifeline, except it has one big difference. After the initial fall is arrested, this retractable releases at 3 ft. per second so that you can rescue yourself, without having to depend on your clumsy co-workers for assistance.

* Drop- This retractable functions like any other retractable in normal use.

* Decelerate- This retractable fall protection lifeline is rated for 400 lbs. and decelerates a fall with a maximum arresting force less that 500 lbs. which is is nearly half the force required by ANSI.

* Descend- After the fall the worker is lowered to the ground at a rate of 3 feet per second.

* Constructed of heavy cast aluminum, and includes a large carabiner for attachment.

Meets all applicable OSHA standards.

Requires Re-Certification every 2 years.
